Bhutan Young Designer’s Workshop in Bangkok, Thailand

Four designers led by a staff from the RTA will be traveling to Bangkok, Thailand to participate in the Bhutan Young Designer’s Workshop at the Thammasat University in Bangkok from August 24 – September 1, 2019.

The workshop is being organized as part of the celebrations of 30th Anniversary of Thai-Bhutan relations by the Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka in collaboration with the Royal Textile Academy of Bhutan. The workshop will be followed by a discourse on traditional Thai and Bhutanese textiles and a designing session. These activities will lead to a fashion presentation at the RTA towards the end of September 2019.
