100 Students from Changzamtog LSS visited RTA

A total of 100 students led by six teachers from Changzamtog Lower Secondary School visited Royal Textile Academy this afternoon. They were on educational tour to RTA.

They were divided into three groups and were given guided tour by RTA’s curators to upper gallery that hosts permanent exhibition titled “Thagzo – The Textile Weaves of Bhutan,” and to lower gallery where “Trima – Discontinuous Weft Pattern” is  currently being exhibited. They also visited Weaving Centre of RTA and had hands-on experience in traditional weaving.

At the end of the session, the students participated in an interactive sessions.
