The Weaving Training (Hor) commenced today at the Royal Textile Academy of Bhutan. 20 participants are attending the three-month-long training.

This skills development training is being implemented by the Royal Textile Academy of Bhutan with funding support from the Department of Employment and Human Resources, Ministry of Labour and Human Resources, Royal Government of Bhutan

During the training, the participants will learn about weaving Hor (warp patterning method) starting from B-Sam Pa (three crosshatches) to B-Gu pa (Nine crosshatches).

The training program will strictly abide by Covid-19 safety protocols as advised by the Ministry of Health.
