The 16 RTA staff members visited the newly opened National Museum, Paro on 31 July 2020.

The National Museum was closed following structural damages as a result of the earthquake in 2011. It was reopened in June 2020. The 7th Storey historical building includes galleries of Buddhism artifacts, Bhutanese artworks, weapons, and textiles.

The team observed the lighting facilities that was one of the major changes during the renovation.

An interactive session was held after the viewing of the exhibitions between the RTA and the Director of the National Museum on practices of the Museum management.
