RTA Participates in CSO Fair 2017

Coinciding with the Sixth Royal Wedding Anniversary on 13 October 2017, His Excellency Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay inaugurated the CSO Fair 2017 this morning at the Centenary Park in Thimphu.

The Chief Justice, Agriculture Minister and several dignitaries from various organizations attended the opening of the fair.

Commemorating the Sixth Royal Wedding Anniversary, the representatives also offered longevity prayers to His Majesty The King.

Prizes and certificates were also distributed to winning entries of the photo competition organized with the theme, “Our Gyenkhu” (our responsibility).

Lyonchhen visited exhibition stalls and interacted with the representatives of the organizations. Several organizations showcased their programs and activities in their exhibition stalls.

A total of 52 CSOs are participating in the fair. The fair, which ends on 14 October 2017, is being funded by HELVETAS Bhutan.
