His Majesty the Druk Gyalpo and the Gyaltsuen visits the Royal Textile Academy

His Majesty the Druk Gyalpo Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck visited the Royal Textile Academy on the 10th of August 2013. At the RTA, Their Majesties were received by the Patron of the Royal Textile Academy Her Majesty Gyalyum Sangay Choden Wangchuck, The Minister of Home and Cultural Affairs Lyonpo Damcho Dorji and the staff of the Royal Textile Academy and the Textile Museum.

Their Majesties visited the two galleries in the Museum, the Weaving Center and interacted at length with the Management and Staff. His Majesty applauded the RTA for our achievements and expressed His full support to our cause.

The family of RTA and the Textile Museum feel blessed and will cherish Their Majesties visit to the Royal Textile Academy.
