Royal Visit at the Royal Textile Academy

His Majesty The King, Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen, and Members of The Royal Family visited the Royal Textile Academy in Thimphu today to view the special exhibition dedicated to this year’s celebration of the 70th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo.

The exhibition, titled The Visionary Monarch: A Tribute to the Fourth King’s Enduring Legacy, was opened by His Royal Highness Gyalsey Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck on 2 June 2026, and is curated by the RTA in collaboration with the Museum Division under the Department of Culture and Dzongkha Development.

Their Majesties and Members of the Royal Family also viewed Thagzo: Textile Weaves of Bhutan exhibition, concurrently on display at the RTA.
