Zhabdrung Phuensum Tshogpa Thongdrol of RTA consecrated

zhabdrung-thongdrolCoinciding with the Descending Day of the Lord Buddha, Zhabdrung Phuensum Tshogpa Thongdrol of the Royal Textile Academy was consecrated yesterday by His Eminence Tsugla Lopen Rinpoche of Zhung Dratshang. The event was graced by Her Majesty Gyalyum Sangay Choden Wangchuck.

The thongdrol was commissioned specially for the RTA to honor His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpoโ€™s legacy and also to commemorate His Majestyโ€™s 60th Birth Anniversary. Royal Family members, Chief justice of Bhutan, Chairman of National Council, Speaker of National Assembly, Ministers and government, corporate and NGO officials attended the consecration ceremony.
