Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel: The Founding Father

It is organised to commemorate the 400 years of legacy of our founding father Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel and to pay our humble tribute to the Zhabdrung, his life and legacy. The exhibition consist of sacred artifacts belonging to the Zhabdrung and his successive reincarnations. Sacred relics belonging to Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel, Chogley Jigme Tenzin and Chogley Yeshey Ngodrup have been loaned from Gasa, Jarogang Lhakhang, Simtokha, National Museum of Bhutan and Hongtsho Tashigang is on display.
