Druk School students visited RTA

A total of 44 students led by three teachers visited Royal Textile Academy this morning. They were on educational tour to RTA.

They were given guided tour by RTA’s curators to upper gallery that hosts permanent exhibition titled “Thagzo – The Textile Weaves of Bhutan,” and to lower gallery where “Trima – Discontinuous Weft Pattern” is  currently being exhibited. They also visited Weaving Centre of RTA and had hands-on experience in traditional weaving.

At the end of the session, the students participated in an interactive sessions.
